Based in Rockhampton, Martinus is building a 210-kilometre rail link from the Carmichael Mine to the existing Central Queensland Coal Network.
The narrow gauge rail line for the Carmichael Mine will be approximately 210-kilometres long and connect the mine to the port using existing rail infrastructure.
The scope of work includes:
- Supply and construction of two flash butt welding yards
- 15,000 flash butt welds
- Mobilisation of all track construction plant and equipment
- Installation of over 600,000 tonnes of ballast
- Supply and install of turnouts and special trackwork
The project team is based in Rockhampton and partnering with local and other regional Queensland businesses and people, while also upholding the highest standards of project delivery across environmental and safety conditions.
